I am happy to see our President once again take the side of common sense.
The left wants to label everything in our history as "bad" and "evil", and try to tear down our heritage, our history, our religion, our Constitution, and everything else that is the foundation of our patriotism. That is how Marxism has always invaded a new territory. For eight years the left had their hard-core Marxist leader, Obama, running our country and its belief structure into the ground. Now they're attacking with a vengeance as Trump undoes all of what they saw as "progress".
But Trump is true America. He feels the same pain we feel when we see somebody attacking our history. Trump is right.
History happened. We cannot change it. And I will venture to say that past slavery has probably benefitted modern day black Americans. They never suffered slavery themselves, but have received innumerable forms of preferential treatment because of guilt pressed onto the white population because it occurred. Still the media tells them that they deserve more.
It isn't about bringing equality any more. Now it is about building internal division, unrest and anarchy as a part of the overall Marxist agenda. The monuments play no role at all in any of this except to remind Americans of a terrible war that occurred because of internal division of our country. We are watching the Left choreograph a similar division today. We had best learn from these monuments and start thinking sensibly about where that leads, instead of just listening to the drone of the Leftist news propaganda.
