I found a recipe that can replace salt. All articles on the Internet indicated that salt is a number one enemy of the heart condition. Mom should not eat cheese puffs because they have a lot of salt.

1⁄2 tsp. cayenne pepper 1 tsp. basil, ground 1 tbsp. garlic powder 1 tsp. thyme, ground 1 tsp. parsley, dry flakes 1 tsp. savory, ground
1 tsp. mace, ground 1 tsp. onion powder 1 tsp. black pepper, ground 1 tsp. sage, ground 1 tsp. marjoram
Combine ingredients and mix well. Spoon into a shaker.

5 tsp. onion powder 2-1/2 tsp. garlic powder 2-1/2 tsp. paprika 2-1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1-1/4 thyme leaves, crushed 1⁄2 tsp. white pepper, ground 1⁄4 tsp. celery seed
Combine ingredients and mix well. Spoon into a shaker.
